WALKING ON WATER
Paul Comfort was leading a Bible study on the Gospel of Mark, and the lesson for the night was the 6th chapter.
“Skeptics have explained the parting of the Red Sea as a possible natural event, and have done the same for quail coming into the Israelite’s camp. Some Bible scholars agree with the natural explanations, but emphasize that God controls nature for His purposes. There is no such explanation possible for walking on water.” Paul paused for emphasis and twenty pairs of eyes were on him in eager anticipation.
“Now the question is this. Do you want to follow the world and your own inclinations?” Another pause. “Or do you want to follow the One who walks on water?”
