UNDER WHOSE AUTHORITY?

It’s election time in the United States, a time when we choose whom we want to have authority over us in this country for the next four years. The newspapers are full of it, the TV stations won’t let us ignore it, and Facebook and Twitter post distortions and fake news about one candidate or the other.

But there is a more important choice to make not only for the next four years but also for our lifetimes…for those who are believers. Are you going to focus first and foremost to love or dread to be under the authority of Donald Trump or Joe Biden? Does that control your thinking? Or is your primary focus and attention centered on the Authority of our Spiritual Leader here on earth – the Lord Jesus Christ?
