The spiritual realm, on the other hand, is available to those who accept the saving grace of Jesus Christ and choose to be a spiritual person instead of a natural self. These are those who pledge their allegiance to God and His Son, Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
As God serves as a check on Satan in the natural world (lest evil and chaos run rampant), so Satan tries to thwart God’s influence in the spiritual realm here on earth through spiritual temptations and in natural crises (I’m way beyond my understanding here).
The end point or this thread of thought is that there are negative and positive energies contesting every inch of ground in the natural world and in the spiritual realm. And this is where prayer comes in. I, in my own small way, can contribute positive energy to push back the negative energy in the fallen world and join God in pushing back evil in the spiritual realm.
I can pray for unbelievers, doomed for destruction in the natural world, to come to Jesus and partake of His glory in the spiritual realm. And I can pray for believers who are buffeted by negative forces that invade their natural beings and their spiritual personalities.
