ST PATRICK’S DAY

Friday, March 16th, 2018

My name is Patrick, and tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day. When I was growing up, on the front side of my life and part of a proud Irish family, I held this day higher than my birthday.

Now that I’m on the back side of my life, it’s not St. Patrick that I celebrate as much as the God who stood alongside him and stands alongside every man and woman who honors Him in this life.

Those who honor me I will honor. 1 Samuel 2:30

  1. Myron Sahlberg Says:

Hooray for an old Irishman who like Abraham regognizes this is not his real home, this is not his real country. Hebrews 11:8-10 “By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went out to a place he was going to receive as an inheritance. He went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he stayed as a foreigner in the land of promise, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, coheirs of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
