RELATIONSHIPS

God is all about relationships. Though I can’t get my mind around the relationship of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, yet it is there. We are made in the image and likeness of God, so we too are all about relationships – first a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, then with family, friends, and the other inhabitants of this Earth.

Once a year in February, my wife and I visit Southern California for a week, staying with my sister and her husband in Palm Desert. One of the highlights of the trip is getting together for golf and meals with two couples close to my sister whom we have gotten to know.

After golf one day last week, we got together for dinner, and I gave the blessing. I thanked God for these highly valued family and friends and for bringing the eight of us together once again . It’s all about relationships.
