For me, there is nothing to do. For God, there is everything to do.
Once saved, I have always had choices. Be a hero for God or let God be a hero for me. Be the leader of my life or be a follower of Jesus Christ. Serve God out of my natural self or out of my spiritual self. Talk to Him or let Him talk to me. And the list goes on. I have made the wrong choices too often.
Jesus, keep me in your grasp. Never let me stray far enough from you that I can’t hear Your voice or follow Your footsteps. Show me what to think, what to say, what to do. Control my emotions. Be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
