I LOVE MY SUBARU
“Do not love the world or anything in the world” is a command given us by the Apostle John. How can we possibly follow it? I love my wife, my two sons, and my country. I also love my Subaru.
I believe John was referring to a love that puts anyone or anything in this world above God. I can follow that command. If you place a loved one or a job or your own self above God, then you are in disobedience. With that said, it’s OK to love my Subaru.

I love God, my family, and I pray by the Spirit’s help, I love people. I also love my garden, my quiet spot in the country, and a warm crackling fire. You’re right Pat, love is a matter of priorities.
