HOLY LIVING
Forgetting ourselves enables us to acknowledge what’s ultimately crucial – that “Christ lives in us.” We can die to the old man (aka the false self or the alien tyrant) who pretends to know how we should live. But it’s not a one-time thing. It’s a daily grind. It’s like a mother who puts the welfare of her children above her own…all the time.
Through sustained surrender and keeping our hands free from the steering wheel of life, we can allow Christ to guide us and discover the secret of holy living.
