BUT WHO IS JESUS?

A young business woman named Grace was telling one of her friends about Jesus. “He healed the sick, raised the dead to life, drove demons out of those possessed, and walked on water.”

“But who is Jesus?” her friend asked. “He taught his disciples about the kingdom of heaven and how to get there, and that’s a destination available to all of us today.”

“But who is Jesus?” her friend asked again. Grace felt she needed to  deepen the meaning of Christ. “He died on the cross for our sins and was resurrected that we may have eternal life.”

In exasperation, her friend said, “You’ve told me what Jesus did, but you haven’t told me who He is. Who is He to you?”

Finally Grace understood what her friend was asking and softly confessed, “He is my Savior, my Lord, and the Lover of my soul.”

“Now I understand. That’s the Person I want in my life.”
