ARE YOU A THERMOSTAT?

A thermometer reflects the temperature; a thermostat sets it. In the same way, we can reflect the culture around us or influence it by what we say and do. Are you a thermostat or a thermometer?

Ask yourself, “Am I reflecting the space I’m in, or am I making a positive difference?” Wherever you go, add value to your surroundings through your love of God. Set a standard for others to see.

The Great Commission, given us by our Lord and Savior is (paraphrased), “Go and make a difference in My creation. Make disciples of all nations.” Are you a thermostat in your surroundings. Do you make a positive difference in the world around you. Set the tone, my friends; don’t reflect the values of the world.

And to add to that, may we all bring our Christian values to our surroundings every day, just to see the difference in the world that would result. Happy Easter.
