ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT

1 Corinthians 3:16

“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?”

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who lives in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.”

The Holy Spirit is like a mother who knows the mind of the Father and who promotes the Son, who is wisdom and guidance, who points us to Jesus—”There He is, follow Him, know Him, listen to Him”—as John the Baptist did.

I believe that the Holy Spirit is one with the Father and one with the Son. But, oh, Lord, it is too much for me to comprehend. Strengthen my faith. Give to me images that help me understand. Make this a cornerstone of my soul.
