A SIMPLE CHRISTIAN

Argh! If I am a Christian, I must do this, this, and this; and I must not do that, that, and that. Rule upon rule. Restriction upon restriction. It’s enough to make your head spin and your emotions swirl.

What if you could simplify it down to one guideline that would cover everything? Here’s how John the Baptist saw it: He must become greater; I must become less. (John 3:30). This is the definition, I believe, of a simple Christian.
